How to set the upload file browser to default to a certain file type?

To be honest, I don't know if this is even possible, or if it's something you'd do with Javascript, HTML, or a server side language like VB.NET.

I have an upload file input on a form. I'm only looking for a specific file, even an exact file name, so is it possible to set the Upload Browser that shows up to look for a default type of file?

For example I want the form to only look for .csv files, and not show images or other types of files when the user is trying to find the right file.

    TIA for any advice.

You can't control system dialogs such as this one with JavaScript.

    None of the above.
