    You would check the key code for every key pressed, and when the key code was equal to the key code for the Enter key, you would do something.

    Smile pls help in terms of code

    I am in a setting like
    Code:
    <td>
    <a href="javascript:submitform();">
    <img border="0" src="images/search.gif" onKeyPress="checkKey();">
    </a>
    </td>
    How may I implement the checkKey() function so that pressing Enter cause it to do something and pressing F5 anything else and so forth.

    Any idea?

    I resigned for that wide question. What would be my answer just for onEnter,

    Pressing Enter would be equivalent to clicking the submit button on the form.
