is there a name to link paths?
many websites use something like Home > About Us > Mission and Vision Statement kind of paths as a feedback to tell the users where they are.
but is there a right or more understandable name to such paths? i am worry people may not get what i mean by saying "paths" like that.

They are called 'breadcrumbs' or 'breadcrumb trail'.
It's from the children's story of Hansel and Gretel, where they sprinkled breadcrumbs as they went into the forest so that they could find their way back home again. In the story, a bird ate the breadcrumbs and there were some scary moments for the kids, but it turned out all right in the end. This won't be a problem on the Internet, though.Birnam wood is come to Dunsinane

I think "breadcrumbs" is nice (thanks AutisticCuckoo), yet not so easy to remember, write and read for everyone on the planet. To make it easily understood by anyone, it could be called "link tree" or "link branch" or "link tree branch" or "link tree path". Finally xEnOn's initial "link path" looks good enough.
