Rather than making a new thread, this is a very strategic one I discovered today.

    I'm stuck at level 16.

That looks interesting. I have a lot to do right now, but toward the end of this week I will look into it. I love games that make you plan ahead, like chess. Although I have not played that in a while either.

Have you tried the Virus 2 now that I revealed the "secret"? -- Datura

I tried it again, and got a little further - I just lack the patience to go through it again.

That game that I posted is really interesting. Basically, how you solve the previous level is mimicked as an object against you. You can get 6 or so rounds in if you plan it properly, and you're right about planning ahead.

Yes, Datura, your secrets work... and my record improved slightly... but I think that I need patience!

Patients and a little luck as well. When you get the confetti board without the strings there is little any strategy could rescue. But someday I will probably try again because I just love to waste my time like that -- Datura

Thanks molona. I have this ability to really focus into something like this. I wonder if it has to do with my lifelong pursuit of observation of tiny detail in all things for my work?

Good for you joejoe! Dishes can wait! This game is addictive if you do not watch out though. Many times now I slapped my own hands saying NO to myself, treating me like this split personality, this child in there that loves playing.

I think a lot of people can, it just is the focus and the luck of the strings you get, the patients to stick with it. I have immense patients, trained by years of drawing pictures with a stipple pen, hundreds of hours on one piece. Here is an example, click the image to see a larger size.

Thanks, and no, you should not be embarrassed! You know how these little fields sometimes clump and make these strings of the same color? I have developed a strategy. I look at the fields, I find a way to click them so the same color spreads into hopefully two or even three directions. It is sort of a battle plan, a plan like in chess where you prepare in your head many moves ahead of the actual moves. Often it works, more often it does not. The whim of the way the colors fall determine in the end how far you get. There is this control to a certain point, but there is also the luck in how these fields are strung together.

But, it is a lot of fun, try again, who knows?

Well, I can hardly wait! Boy is it inching now though, I think with really great luck I could reach 70 000, but it is going to be very hard to get above that.

But maybe you will do it! Hope is a great motivator.

Very interesting. Gosh, I am such a sucker for things like it. But I have a little bit of a difficult time with the moving elements, I am a migraine sufferer, so it could possibly trigger one. I have to see. Thanks for the tip though.

I could not find the instructions, but I think I got it, I can not make too much sense yet out of the scoring system. But I will go back and report. What is the score that I am aiming for?
