    Getting back upto speed...

It's been a very very long time since I've done any heavy commercal JavaScript! I've decided that it's about time I got back into and brought myself up to speed.

I would like to get a book on it, preferably a SitePoint book, which would be best? http://www.sitepoint.com/books/ajax1/ or http://www.sitepoint.com/books/jsant1/

Or can anyone else recommend a book? I'm not looking for a beginner book, I've got 2 years extensive experience with JS, just mainly need a refresher and something that covers over whats changed in the past 4-5 years

    Cheers

Hi dhtmlgod! Great to see you again

I haven't read either of those books, so I'm afraid I can't help much there.

I just wanted to say hi

The Javascript anthology is a good "recipe" type book and covers many aspects of modern JS development.

The AJAX book is great if you are looking to really focus in on just AJAX.

The anthology does cover some AJAX but it's not the sole focus of the book, so if you're looking for something more general that's the one to go with.
