    alert() method, can it return 'OK/Cancel' or 'Yes/No'

    Hi all,

    I want to perform a function on my website but want to prompt the user before they commit to their actions. I know there is an Alert() function in JavaScript, but I want to have 'Yes' 'No' or 'Confirm' 'Cancel' buttons on the Alert box.

    Is this not available in JS's alert method? If not, what alternatives are there?

    Thanks

    You need to use confirm()
