    adding a loading bar

    Hello all, any ideas how I would go about adding a loading bar when a page is being loaded?

    like this page: http://www.spreadshirt.com/shop.php?...&affiliate=600

    Any good tutorials?

    A single right click ought to have been enough to determine that it was an instance of a Flash preloader at work.

    Try searching for 'Flash preloader' on the Internet: you are bound to come up with thousands of results. Some of them will probably be relevant to what you are after.

    I do believe there is a rather good tutorial on the subject here at SitePoint. Here follows the link: http://www.sitepoint.com/article/status-flash-preloader . I hope you will find it useful.
    Be not too sure that none of the old magic endures...

    If you want to do it in HTML, make something like this:
    HTML Code:
    <div id="lbar">
    Loading bar image/mesage here.
    </div>
    and:
    HTML Code:
    <body onload="document.getElementById('lbar').style.display = 'none';">
