    php and vBulletin

    Hello,
    I have recently had to reinstall my entire web site which included php and a vBulletin forum. The forum work great except for emailing out passwords as it did before. I know I had to make some changes to my php before to get this to work but I can remember what It was. Can someone maybe point me into the right direction as to where I set php to email.(i.e. mail server and other setting)

    Does anyone know what else it may be?

    My web server is using Apache and Im running php as a module. I cant seem to find a php.ini file. Should there be one?
    Thanks

    yes there should be a php.ini file... the binary distrubution shld have a php.ini.dist file which you shld rename to php.ini and copy to your windows directory(C;\windows for example)

    read this for more on this

    in the php.ini file you shld search for a line like "sendmail" or "SMTP"... configure your settings as required there...

    Create a script with this in it:

    PHP Code:
    <?php

        phpinfo
    ();

    ?>
    Look at the top and see where PHP is looking for the php.ini and come back and tell us

    Talking Works Great

    Thanks for your help guys. After I ran that script I remembered where I had placed the php.ini file. I made the changes and everything works great.

    Thanks Again...
