initially, i had too many javascript files and managed to delete those as they were not needed. but when you hover from one page to another on my site here you will find that there is a slight flash of blue background of the content before it becomes white again. does anyone know how to fix this issue? i actually experienced this on my own site as well and I never knew what was causing it. any thoughts?
I occasionally get a site loading slowly and kind of work backwards to find the bug. usually it's easy to pinpoint a few usual suspects (ie. big images, scripts, embedded media etc) but sometimes I just start commenting out elements until I find the one that triggers the slow speed.
One time it was a small 5px -by- 5px *.png file that was adding about 5 seconds to a layout (community portal).
