I would like a good joining form, where information is required and can be sent through email through and online server rather than opening your email acount through a pop-up, what is the best way to do this if possible?
Although I dont actually know them, Perl and ASP seem the best solution to this problem (especially ASP since it is run on the web server).
But because ASP needs IIS and Perl needs UNIX, its up to your ISP unless you use the lesser-known JSP by Sun Microsystems.

I've you're lazy like me, you can use http://www.freedback.com - it's a remotely hosted script totally built for you and in return they stick some little buttons on your form.
This topic is already being discussed here: http://www.sitepoint.com/forums/Forum1/HTML/000979.html
wluke has provided some ASP code that will handle forms, so if your host provides ASP then that would be the best option. Otherwise, chech out some of the other URLs and posts in the other thread.
