    Passing Value From one to Other

    Hi,

    I know it can be done... just not sure how? What I would like to do is have a popup window open with a few options to select and these values then passed to the main window without reloading the main window.

    Thanks in advance.

    If you have a variable defined in your main window called myvar then you can populate it from the popup like this:
    opener.myvar="some text"

    Just preface the variable name with the term "opener" and it should do the trick. The term "opener" refers to the window that opened the popup. You can also perform a function in your main window the same way.
    opener.function_name()

    Hi bigAl,

    Not positive if it's what you want, but see the "Adding Options from a Child Window" script/tutorial at my site. At the least, it will give you some ideas.
