link to XHTML 2.0 recommended specification

Not sure if anyone else has posted this, I did do a search for it in the forums but didn't see anything come up.

This is the link to W3C's recommended spec for XHTML 2.0 - still in early days I believe..

    http://www.w3.org/TR/2006/WD-xhtml2-...roduction.html

From reading the above it seems the main benefit will be for XML, but there
are a few recomendations on other markup issues.

    Best,

    Andy

xhtml is XML and the spec is in the draft stage. Let's get xhtml1.0 working in our pages first. Better yet, get Internet Explorer to work with xhtml served as xhtml. Every other browser does.

Sorry, i was just badly paraphrasing what the doc said.

I was more interested in some of the other markup changes so that's why
I posted it for any others to see.

I agree about IE, it's criminal that it's so far behind other browsers
and as such leaves its unwitting users out of the loop

Maybe when M$IE supports XHTML <del>in</del> <ins>if by</ins> 2020 there might be some more practical application.
