Question Embed CGI form script in shtml?

Since I now know how to properly insert CGI into shtml I am now faced with a new problem: manipulating the output.

I have a simple CGI script that pulls a list of media from a db and builds a table. It also has a sort function and can sort by title, date, or type of media. The initial output displays on my shtml page no problem, with an URL that looks like this:

    http://www.mydomain.com/media/index.shtml

But when I try to sort the data it kicks me back to the raw script in the CGI-BIN here:

    http://www.mydomain.com/cgi-bin/media.cgi?l=1

How can I allow users to sort without having to leave the /media/ folder? Hopefully I can accomplish this without using some sort of frame.

    Can you show the code.

Also the sorting options should link to index.shtml?l=sort when selected not the cgi.
