    excel sorting

    This may or may not be included as programing, I found here support to others. So i post it here...

    My question...just Excel sorting..

    I got a field with numbers...(1 to 10000)
    I like to extract numbers ending with 22,35,49,51,67

    so how to do it..

    My try..
    Data>auto sorting> condition..select ending with 22 or ending with 35.( only two rows to selec I try it first)

    reslt no matching..

    grateful for any help and this is the work of my office...

    if it post in a wrong place..sorry..

    Do you have to use Excel? If you have access to Perl, PHP, or something like MySQL, you can extract your numbers with a regular expression: just look for a match on (22|35|49|51|67)$

    It would probably be easiest with MySQL. You can do it with a single query:

    select numberfield from yourtable where numberfield rlike "(22|35|49|51|67)$";
