I'm always glad to hear about solid designers that prefer a PC. Most people think all the hardcore designers have a G4 box.

Back on topic...I'm looking foward to exploring the new features when Photoshop 7 comes out! Better vector support I hope.

    Lightbulb scripting in photoshop

I remember reading instructions on how to construct Photohop filters and thinking it wans't all that difficult.

Just thought I'd mention... I could see that accomplishing a number of scripting needs.

hehe. I have a mac, but by the time I got my grubby hands on a copy of the beta, I had taken osx off my machine (didn't use it).

I still have it somewhere i think.....not sure about that though....

Anyway, yeah, right now the beta is OSX only (REAL problem if it's not going to work on pre-X machines).

There's only really one feature I really want, and that is what I call a "Filter Layer" where you can make a layer that applies a filter to either what it is clipped to, or what is below it. This way you could tweak filters as you go. That would be really cool....very processor intensive, but very cool.

No, this fall or even this summer perhaps.

Can't wait for release, but I'm very disappointed with the feature set, which I've outlined pretty fully in this thread

Will of course be slashing out on the upgrade asap, even if im not dazzled by all the amazing new features (accidentally left out, but saved for the next version by the way!!!).

It's the full BETA, which isn't the same at all (note the "BETA" plastered across the startup screen!).
