    please help sort out my html

    i have a design with four columns in it. the trouble is when i put too much text in a colum it sqeezes the other columns which i don't want. i want them all to be a fixed width. how can i do this? the site with and without text can be seen here:

    the text is unbroken so it has nowhere to go but stretch the cell. If you have a standard paragraph with spaces etc it will drop to the next line when i word reaches the width that is currently set.

    Yeah - just put some spaces in your test text and it should align just fine.

    To avoid stuff like this happening in the future I suggest using this for generating test text:
