Hey,

I have a few questions about the use of javascript popup-windows in FireFox. I'm using this code to make the window:

Code:
<script type="text/javascript">
<!--
function popup(mylink, windowname)
{
if (! window.focus)return true;
var href;
if (typeof(mylink) == 'string')
   href=mylink;
else
   href=mylink.href;
window.open(href, windowname, 'width=600,height=800,scrollbars=yes');
return false;
}
//-->
</script>
and the link:
Code:
 <a href="hjelp/opprettnyhet/artikkel_hjelp.htm" onClick="return popup(this, 'notes')">my popup</a>
While this works perfect in internet explorer, special characters such as זרו only shows as question marks in FireFox. Is there a easy fix to make it work in both browsers?

And to my second question:

Code:
<script type="text/javascript">
    <!--
    window.focus();
    //-->
</script>
This code is supposed to bring the popup-window back on top if the user click the link again with the window still open. This also works perfect in internet explorer, but nothing happens in FireFox.

Any help to get this to work with both browsers would be appreciated.
