    background-image failure

Somehow my image doesn't work when I use it as background, and I can't figure out why it doesn't, when I just use it in html it does display it correctly.

You can find the problem here
at the middle of the page the image is displayed as it should, and above (under the banner, it doesn't)

suggestions or answers are more than welcomed

None of the images are displaying on my browser. Stupid question I know but have you definitely uploaded it to your server and if you have, is the path to the file correct.

    Just a suggestion.

I think it is because you haven't specified height. The background image is displaying, but not fully. If you put height:??px; you should be good. If you still have problems please PM me. I have extensive knowledge with background images and can help.

    Hi,

Inline images will force room in the parent if necessary, where background images don't change the layout at all. You need to think a little different about background images.

This is what it looks like on both current FF and Safari browsers on Mac OS/X (10.8.4).
