hmmm.. I think I could try that. I'll let you know whether it worked (or not).

If you're using a lot of tables on you site (like me) you'll have to replace those grey standard lines with graphics. Now is my question: how do you do that?

What gray standard lines? Just add border="0" to your table tag and voila no lines.

TO use graphics you have to cheat or as most people put it, use a hack, the individual graphics are placed in cells of their own and built into the layout.

If things were that easy... Ney, I NEED those lines, to separate the text (take a look at my site to see what I mean) else things would be a mess! I only want to change them in nice graphics.
But you mean that you should use backgrounds in the tables?

Actually I think the use of lines makes the user feel like an idiot. If your content is layed out in a good fashion, the user can read it just fine.

Anyway to do graphical lines you would do

code/font>

topleft corner graphic

top border graphic

Top Right corner Graphic

left border graphic

content stuff here

right border graphic

    etc.....

bottom left corner graphic

bottom border graphic

Bottom right corner graphic

    [/code]

Of course this is all tedious work but is easy if you use PHP or ASP to build the page dynamically out of a database.
