Strange difference bewteen FF and IE

    Hi everyone,

I have a problem and can't seem to fix it.
    This page,
    http://www.nieuwzeelandreizen.be/exc...eiland.php?e=n

looks ok in FF, but in IE the right side of the green subsections is simply cut off. Does anyone know why this happens?

    Many thanks in advance,
    Michel

Well, since you don't have a DOCTYPE all browsers will be rendering in quirks mode and IE's rendering in quirks mode is very different from the others. So of course it will look different.

Learn what a DOCTYPE is and why you need one. Also fix up your code so it validates to your chosen DTD. CSS rules are defined only for valid html with a proper doctype. If you don't feed your browser that you don't have any basis upon which to expect any particular result.

Resources are available on SitePoint for you to learn about this stuff - look around. If you can't find what you want here fire up Google and start hunting. Or get yourself a book on CSS and html from your nearby bookstore or public library.
