    Hi,

    I've got a search text field on a page and wish to know how can I put the value of this text field in the url like google does!

    use method=get for your form.

    I try it and it is working but, I have also a X and Y variable and was wondering what it is?

    thats from your input type=image element.

    remove the name attribute for that element if you dont want them.

    oops, sorry thought that would prevent them from being sent.

    a regular type=submit button could be used. otherwise you would probably need some javascript to get rid of them.
