Just make the text smaller in the images, just like the image around it.. And for such a rollover you could just make the background of the images and put it in a table as background of cells, just put text there and rollover with the <style> tag... Your page will load faster...
Thanks for your tip. That is one that I am considering, though the real problem is, is that most of those rolovers then load pages that have there own subdirectories (more links) to go to pages about that specific area.
Each of the rollover images is only 1kb, the largest of the images is the main banner which is 7kb so load time is not that much, though xoom.com does not load too fast on any connection
The images are far too large...I do the same thing you do; I assume that everyone viewing my site will have terrible eyesight...even though everything I create is 4 times larger than anyone would ever need to see...
You can afford to make those images much, much smaller...half the size even, and they'll still be quite easy to see.
