When doing small freelance jobs for clients, I usually just upload a folder into the root of my site with the client's corresponding name (ex: http://bjerkewebdesign.com/clientfolder). Recently, a client of mine found a previous development version of their site on my site through Google search results. Is there a way to exclude search engines from looking into specific directories of my choosing so I can prevent this from happening?
