    Smile Advice for beginner

    Hi All,

Sorry if this question has been asked before....

I am going through the sitepoint "build your website using HTML and CSS (Ian Lloyd" and want to know what the best book is to build up on the CSS, with more complex and real world design examples. I am not sure whether to purchase the CSS anthology book as this may duplicate what has already been mentioned.

Any advice for me please with respect to books/resources.

    Many thanks in advance.

As far as I'm concerned, there's no need to buy any books at all !!...

There are hordes of outstanding tutorials all over the 'net and guess what??... THEY'RE FREE!!

There's one SitePoint book that was helpful to me... I think it's 101 CSS Tricks or something like that. It's by no means essential, but it's full of nice advanced CSS tips.

    Anyways, that's my two cents.

Sitepoint book: The CSS Anthology by Rachel Andrew is a good one with real life examples you can work through - I enjoyed this book and still refer to it quite a bit.

I received the latest css book by Eric Meyer as a gift recently and haven't hd a thorough look through - but also has examples to work with:
