    Desired File Formats

I'm about to start a logo design contest, but I'm not sure about the "Desired File Formats" issue.

ok - you may say a jpg is fine - but I'm looking to the future and the possibility that other design people may be involved then.

So when I see terms like 'vector' etc, should I necessarily be asking for them?

I own a legitimate licence for Adobe Photoshop 6.0 and I really don't want to upgrade unless I really have to.
(I can barely use the basic functions of this outstanding program as it is!)

Does 'vector' apply to my version?
What should I be asking for?

Sorry to ask these newbie questions, HELP?

Yes, you should ask for a vector copy.

Photoshop 6 will be able to open any file format you rquest.
