    SEO for bloggers

    Hi,

I've seen that someone asked a question how to advertise a blog in "Promotion Techniques" forums and got many answers. I wanted to put on discussion here which one was the best blog software from SEO point?

My experience is that WordPress is very well optimized for Search Engines so all you need is to focus on quality content. what do you think?

WordPress works pretty well out the box and there are some nice plugins, so I guess I think "yup"... Unfortunately "quality content" is always the hardest bit

I'm not sure that the blogging platform matters that much for SEO. Content is 100 times more important.

Yes it is.. You're much better off using Wordpress than say blogger. You won't get useless content at the top of the page, you can use trackbacks etc... Defo go for Wordpress mate. On page optimisation and URL optimisation does matter and if you can get it automated, why not use it? All helps..
