    bg color not appearing in IE 7

    I have a weird issue with IE 7 and am hoping someone may help.

    For some reason IE7 is not showing the background color in the top menu section at http://www.stakeholder-management.com.

    The main menu bar displays as blue in all modern browsers except IE 7.

    The background color was originally set by:

    #menubar {
    background-color: #2A76C5;
    font-size: 0.8em;
    }

    I have even tried adding a repeating image to see if it corrected it :

    #menubar {
    background-image: url(../imgs-sc/misc/blue.gif);
    background-repeat: repeat-x;
    background-color: #2A76C5;
    font-size: 0.8em;
    }
    Just in case it would help and it did not.

    I have also changed the background color in the mainmenu div :

    #p7PMnav {
    margin: 0;
    padding:0;
    background-color: #FFFFFF;
    }

    to

    #p7PMnav {
    margin: 0;
    padding:0;
    background-color: #2A76C5;
    }

    and this appears to have made no difference.

    Should I be adding something to the conditional statement that exists on the page:

    <!--[if IE 7]><style> div, ul, li, a {zoom: 100%;} #p7PMnav ul li {float:left;clear:both; width: 100%;}</style><![endif]-->

    This was added to overcome other IE 7 differences.

    Thanks in advance,

    Dododi

    This issue has now been fixed.

    It appears there is a bug in IE 7 and how it handles nested lists.

    Would you care to elaborate so others can avoid this bug
