    Having problems with floating

    URL: http://www.andreaandrichard.com/

So here's the problem I've been having (and pulling my hair out, trying to figure it out):

I have #container that contains #content and #left. I specify the #container to have a background of #cb6828. This works perfectly like it should when #content and #left do not have float: right and float: left inputted in, respectively. As soon as I float the #content right and float the #left left, the page doesn't want to remember that my container has a background color of #cb6828. Maybe I'm taking the wrong approach to this?

Also, how do I keep the #left and #content height always equal to each other?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

If I've understood you correctly, you might need to use "faux columns". If you search for that term in Google, you should find an article from A List Apart describing the technique.

    Kind Regards
