    Help needed tracking clicks

Hi, i use PHP for my site and im tracking banner clicks by redirecting clicks from a JPG banner to another directory where a counter is activated (using a mysql database), and then the user is redirected to the advertiser's website. Now they want to place a Flash banner instead of the JPG that has a redirection embedded in it. Is there any way in which i can use their Flash banner and still track clicks myself?

Ask them to include the link to your redirection-page in the flash-banner. This way, when the user clicks the banner, the person will be redirected to your redirection-script and you´ll be able to logg the traffic, and then you redirect the person to the real location.

Make the flash banners to redirect to the specified url. So that banner.swf?redir=http://www.google.com would redirect to google.com when clicked. This way a banner would not be url specific.
