    Exclamation CSS Restrictions

Are there restrictions for the syntax of CSS Class selectors?

I have a selector for my xml news parser that
    is .fase4_rdf

When I run it thru the css validator I get a parse error on that one. I'm wondering if the underscore is causing the problem.

    Anyone heard of this before??

I think it's technically legal, but I noticed that NS6 didn't want to work with underscores when it first came out. Now, I use camel case, 'cause of that. :-)

You can't use underscores _ in class names.

Underscores are valid under the CSS2 specification, however, many browsers ignore them.
