    Disappeared from MSN

Hi, until around last week my site was in MSN and doing fairly well for the targetted keywords. However its no longer in their index and i wondered why this may be?

Also how do you get re-included? do i need to email them like you can do with google?

Have you changed your site at all? MSN is a bit bad for punishing your listing if you make any big changes to your site.

I doubt they're banning you or anything, unless you know you've done some black hat or something like that and your just not telling us that :P

But this happens often with search engines. My website was dropped from Google for 2 weeks once, and then all of a sudden every single one of my pages came back indexed and ranking where it was previously, weird you say? Definately.

I would wait a week or two, then after that, you have permission to start worrying a bit more.

Also how do you get re-included? do i need to email them like you can do with google?
Since when can you email Google and get a response from a real person?

MSN should re-include you automatically, so there isn't much you can do to get back in.

    hi,

there were no radical changes, just article updates and a few amends to the copy...

with google you can request a reinclusion if you beleive your site may have been penalised. i just wondered if a similar process existed with msn?

i guess i will just have to wait and see if it gets reincluded...

    thanks
