Archive of Site Sale
Hello Sitepoint.com
I just looked back into sitepoint and tried to find a website I sold because I need to look at the describtion of the website because now, 6+ months later the new owner is claiming I didn't give him something included in the sale, and I doubt what he's saying and wants to take legal action (supposedly).
But I look back and it seems you pruned the threads that were x amount of months old? So is there any way or any chance you have an archive of them somewhere?
Thanks
Brandon

Ok someone please respond and confirming that I can't see an archive of the sale, or if I can tell me how.
Thanks

I don't believe there is any, I looked through your "Topics" and couldn't see any sites.

Yea thats my problem. The buyer of the website is trying to sue me now and I don't have a record of the original sale, unfortunately.

Well, the Sites for Sale section isn't really forum threads anymore, so searching the forum threads isn't going to find you things in there.

6+ months ago it was (well, I think the switchover to the new system was in June? about 6 months ago... depends on that plus
). And those threads are still available (example: http://www.sitepoint.com/forums/showthread.php?t=289610).
Just search for the name of your site (which should have been included in the thread) and you should find it, assuming it wasn't removed for some other reason.

If it was that easy I would have found the thread already.
I posted this contest when they first got the marketplace, and when I search through the marketplace for my site sale it shows no results. Same thing when I search the actual forums.

Send me a note what sale it was you're looking for, I sometimes can find things pretty well.
