    Recognize this bulletin board system?

    Haven't seen one like that for years. Pages are named .php3 which may make it quite an old script, and most likely custom made.

    yes it looks very old!! and may be it is a custom one! why would you need something like that? if you need some lightweight forum try Vanilla: http://getvanilla.com

    I like the immediacy of the discussion, more like a chat rather than one of the new types of bulleting board like vbulletin with threaded discussions.

    I'm looking for a discussion software for a mommy site in Spanish.

    I will check out Vanilla - thanks a lot.

    if you want a chat, get a chat script, if you want a forum, look for a forum

    i would suggest that the mix just doesnt work well with members, forum members like having signatures and avatars and getting notifications of replies etc etc

    chat members expect instant reply its a completely different field

    plus that "forum" uses javascript to show replies, that in itself could stop the forums working for certain users.
