problem with rich text editor in my php page...

hi, i'm using a rich text editor in my page.

    PHP Code:
     <textarea id="textarea1" name="description" cols="150" rows="10" wrap="soft" ></textarea>
            <
    script language="javascript1.2">  generate_wysiwyg('textarea1');</script>
i'm having few problems with its output when user sumbit their entry..

sometimes, the description entered by the user is too long to fit in the display table, although the table is set to width 100%.

besides, if the user type in some html or javascript, it will affect the display of my form..

do you have any idea to solve these problem?
1.display the output according to the screen width/table width.
2.parse all the html/java code entered by the user.

    thank you!
