I recently launched a small page that allows collectors to browse my card collection. I house the collection offline in a MS Access databse, then export the query result to a data file (currently txt, could be XML, etc) for inclusion on my ISP's server. Due to restrictions from my ISP, I cannot simply use something like MySQL directly on the server, nor can I run any server side scripting. As a result, I've implemented this solution using the text file and client side scripting.

The probem I'm having is that the datasrc and datafld attributes are not HTML 4 or XHTML compliant, and they do not display on non-IE browsers.

Can anyone point me to an article or tutorial that would show me how to display bound data in a complaint manner that will work on more than just IE?
