ASP and PHP on same server

My webhost told me and confirmed I can use php files on the IIS server.

Any one out there who juggle with the 2?

Some functions are easier to do with PHP while I mostly code in ASP.

Now I know you'll tell me not to put asp and php code together on the same page.

I was thinking of the htaccess page, would that work on my asp application?

Thank you in advance for your input.

No - as .htaccess is an Apache feature and does not exist with IIS.

I use both but I wouldn't mix them on a per-project basis, unless it was absolutely necessary.

    Thank you your input.

Now I'll go get a PHP book so I'll be able to differentiate between PHP specific and Apache specific functions/features.
