Robots revisit

hi there,
in my sites meta tag i mentioned the robots to visit my site after 10 days.
Now Robots regularly crawls my site after 10 days. But i am making updates once in three days.
Now can i change the robot revisit days to 5 days.
Will this create any problem.

That tag doesn't affect anything. It is ignored by the search engines. They use other factors to determine when to revisit your site. Frequency of content being changed and PR being two of those factors.

but i have noticed that last time my site was cached on dec 1 and next cache was on dec 11

It's coincidence. You'll notice that fluctuate over time.

Yeah there is no need for the revisit tag, you can set the change frequency in your XML sitemap, other then that just keep updating your website regularly, this will eventually get Google reindexing your site every couple of days.
