Web Programmers & Graphics Guys: Slow this time of year?

I have noticed a significant drop in sales in the past month and a half to 2 months. Is this something you all experience during thanksgiving / Christmas?

Towards the end of the year companies stop spending money on new projects and just try to finish existing projects yes its a normal thing. You should see sales go back up in January!

I have done a poor job at keeping track from year to year. It is a bummer that biz goes down when it is time to buy Christmas presents / travel etc. But then again - it is nice so we can spend time with friends/family and take it easy.

For those of us who are business owners, it simply doesn't ever happen except for this time of year

Hmmm ... I can only speak for myself and the business I am in (webdevelopment/graphic design) and it's not slowed down for me. I cannot make any comparisons because I've only been in business for less than three months.
