You mean spam myspace users with junk?

you mean besides the exact same junk that myspace is pushing to them in their ad space already?? myspace places these same CPL offers all over their network.

yea, well that goes without saying. my point of that, is the ads she calls "junk" are the exact same ads myspace feels necessary to post throughout their network. so junk or not, obviously myspace understands that those are the type of offers that work best with their audience.

Hehe, dude don't you get it? MySpace can put any ads they want, it's their site. Anyhoo, I don't think you'll get a lot out of CPL and MySpace unless you embark on a massive, massive spam campaign.

I get that! I think my replies make it clear that I get that. I think they were getting confused that I was asking if anyone spammed MySpace with CPL campaings. I was asking if anyone had purchased ads space on MySpace and tried running the same type CPL ads that MySpace themselves run on the site and I was going to ask if it was worth it.
I know MySpace can put any ads they want up, thats not my point, I don't question the quality or moral rights of their ads, just the success of the campaigns they sell on a CPM.

That's why I asked about email and zip only CPL campaigns. These type offers only require the user to submit either their email address or US zip code for the lead to be generated. I find that these are the BEST offers to target at teens, just not too sure of their success on myspace.

Ah, I see now. I don't think MySpace would allow you to have your own CPL ads in direct competition to their own, but I think it would do fairly well just because of MySpace's ginormous userbase.
