    Windows network setup like mainframe?

    Hi,

Does anyone know of a program or setup that would be used to allow a computer on a Windows LAN to run a program on another computer on the network w/o loading that program into it's RAM? In other words, the machine that I'd be working at would act like a terminal on a mainframe system instead of a pc.

    Thanks,
    Rob

I can't say i've ever heard of such a thing for windows. The only thing that comes close is a sun computer I used once, just a dummy terminal, accessed with a smartcard

PCanywhere coule be similar to the thing you want, but i dunno...

Or you could setup VNC viewer. That might be closer to what you are looking for.
Straight from the TP! And I don't mean the Trailer Park.

    Thanks guys,

I think the VNC viewer might be just right.

    Appreciate the responses!
