H2 or P for tagline - which makes more sense to you?

Would you use an <h2> or <p> to wrap your site's slogan/tagline? Why? Would you use/do something else altogether? If so, why?

Usually p, div, or span. Just a relatively meaningless tag with a class of "tagline" or similar.

I don't think I'd use <p>. Doesn't really seem like a paragraph. I'd have a look at it with CSS turned off and see how overpowering it is and then maybe that would help to get a feel for what it should be.
