Where do we start designing?

That's it! I'm sick of my old design! I think I should redesign it. But where do I start? How come Matt made such a good job designing his? My site is on its third design process and I still never came up with a good and effective idea! Can anybody help me by telling where to start it this time?

Or hold a contest in the Trading Forum. Lots of other webmasters submit excellent designs in exchange for something. Try it out, you never know what results you might get.

I think I'll go change my username to ContestAddict now.....
