    Links not working in FF

I'm having problems getting nice ordinary links to work in FF. Main menu links are working OK but embedded links in text aren't. The same links work fine in IE6 (same can't be said for the rest of the page in IE but I'm working on that)

Now this is is something I've not seen before, either it's a subtle bug in FF or I'm doing something really dumb.

I don't know if this affects your links, but your DTD is wrong for self closing tags like <br />. Try changing it to xhtml transitional or skip the forward slash in self closing tags.

The W3C validator also says that although your Document is tentatively valid, you need to declare a character encoding to make it parse properly.

Thanks for that. I still don't really know what the problem was but I re-wrote the page and everything's OK now.

Although your page validates now, it isn't presenting well in Firefox 2.0. Your navigation drops way to the left and your content reaches above your content background. I think this may be due to css errors. Take a look here:

I think I'm having a bad html day . I fixed the CSS errors - a few missing colons grrrr. Is it looking any better for you now?

That problem happened to me. The problem was caused by a transparent div "covering the div that the link was in.

If you make the div absolute and set z value to something high like 20 the problem dissappear.

The problem happened in Firefox only, not IE
