I just started getting a good clickthrough with adwords on a campaign and now I'm wondering how I do about tracking when a persona clicks on my ad to see if it actually converts to a sale. I'm an affiliate so once they are off of my site, it's out of my hands, correct?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Usually the merchant will show you the referring url, which you could attach the keyword which converted. Most do this.

Google Analytics is definitely your best bet since made to work with Adwords to do exactly what you want.

Ya, it would seem I mis-interpretted the question. That being said Analytics is still a fantastic, free statistics program for any site.

What network is it on? Or is it an independent affiliate program? A couple networks, including Commission Junction, have a way to tag your affiliate links so you can see that tag in your commission reports, allowing you to track sale sources.
