installing ISA modem in Linux
can anyone help me get my ISA 33.6kbps modem to work with Linux (i'm using Mandrake 8.0)... in Windows the installation involved installing a COM Port driver for the modem (uses COM port 3)...
however, under Linux, i don't have the driver for the modem... is there a way to get it working? or is there a generic modem driver for linux or something (i'm very new to Linux)
any help is greatly appreciated

Is it a winmodem? If so, you should take a look at http://www.linmodems.org/.
