    Question Safari css issue with scrollable div

    I have this class in my css file.

    #maintexttextscroll {
    overflow: auto;
    visibility: visible;
    position: absolute;
    left: 390px;
    top: 207px;
    z-index:2;
    width: 447px;
    height: 253px;
    }

    Inside my <div id="#maintexttextscroll"></div> I have a flash file, text and images.

    The div has a vertical scrollbar.
    In Safari when I scroll down the content flows outside of the scrollable div.
    It work fine in IE and Firefox.

    Any help???

    Unhappy

    I see noone knows how to solve that problem.

    I tested many things and I notice that the problem is in flash.
    If the div contains only text, it scrolls fine.

    I tried to use another div "overflow:hidden" but it didn't work.
    Also flash doesn't understand z-index.

    As I was searching in google I found the overflow:auto is a bug in Safari.

    Maybe the problem is in the html code for embending flash in the webpage.

    Does anyone know a hack or something for Safari?

    Please help!

    First thing I'd do is question why you're using absolute positioning for this. The second thing I'd do (and I'm doing it right now) is ask you to post your HTML code.
