    What email marketing software?

I am looking into email marketing software for our company - newsletters, email campaign tracking, etc. What is some of the good stuff out there that's not too expensive?

    Thanks, Dave

There are a number of options available at various price ranges. I assume you are looking for commercial software?

    What email marketing software?

Thanks for the link - we're on an ASP.NET system, so I don't think it'll work for us.

I am looking for stand-alone software (not a service like Constant Contact) to integrate with an existing SQL database and that will track clicks, etc. Group Mail looks pretty good, but I am wondering what else is out there that is quality commercial software that can handle 50,000+ mailings for under $500. (haha, yes, I know...).

    Cheers, Dave

At my work, I use Intellicontact. It's web based and does the job. We send newsletters and marketing emails weekly to about 85K users. There are some pretty cheap packages if you don't have a huge user base. I'd give them a shot. Nice statistics package included as well. Good luck

    nice thread :-)

im looking at a few mass mailers/autoresponders myself. Aweber seems to be recommended by a few. Based on the reviews we purchased it for our company. But anow, after two days we are turning it down.

Its got a compulsory 'verification' process, which means that if you have to import your exisitng database it will send a verification email to all users.

We have all our users via double opt-in and dont want them to go through the process all over again. If not for this issue we would have continued with Awebber.

Awebber is good if you are starting from scratch or dont mind sending out emails to user for re-verification of the opt-in process.

Another tool we are considering is Getresponse and Mailout.

Havent zeored in on any product yet.

    cheers!

I have a licensed fxstyle but I tell you guys never use this software. This is very poor. After 3 months of not using it, now not functioning anymore. I tried sending to 5 of my test emails addressess and nothing I receive. I contacted support but not responded.

Is there any free web-based that can handle medium amount of recepients?

    Thanks

This looks cool - I just signed up, however it's a hosted solution and I don't trust storing my subscriber data on another system
