Google Analytics - how do I find the Search Engine visits?
This is a really, really dumb question but having spent half an hour on Google Analytics I STILL can't find out which search engines have visited.
The so-called help is laughable. There's more information on how to install GA than there is on how to use it. (I exaggerate only slightly)
And whilst I'm about it, is there any way to find all the visits to a specificied page (I was thinking robots.txt)?
Any help greatly appreciated
Google Analytics will not show you robot or spider visits because of its data collection method (relying on Javascript / images). You'll have to check your actual server logs for spider visits.

Thanks!
It never occured to me that they couldn't track SEs!
Silly question, but because Analytics uses images/javascript, will the googlebot even show up in the Analytics statistics?
