Getting rid of the right border?

Is it possible to get rid of the ugly border on the right hand side of the text area box in this form (the one for messages)?
In Explorer it looks like this, but a little better in Safari.

You could try applying the CSS declaration overflow:auto; to that <textarea>.

Nope, that didn't solve the problem.
Still looks the same in IE (at least on my Mac).

Welcome to the HELL that is forms - and REALLY WELCOME to the LIVING BLOODY ******* HELL that is forms on the Mac.

No two browser engines create their form elements in even REMOTELY the same size or positioning regardless of what CSS you feed it - with "Safari/Konqueror/KHTML/Webkit/Whatever they want to call it this week" being the WORST offender of all in that department.

You pretty much have to accept it's going to suck.
