    Question Anyone use XMBforum?

I've been using Ikonboard, however there are 3 downfalls that I don't like:

    1. Its not written in PHP
    2. Spider's can't crawl it
    3. I'm much more familiar with PHP than Perl

I've installed XMBforum tonight, to tinker around with it. It seems really nice. Looks like those deepcrawlers ( esp. Google ) will be able to crawl the topics no problem.

Sooooo....before I have my heart broken too much..and get too attached....

What do you all think that have tried it?

    Thanks

i've tried it b4, albeit for only a short while cos i lost my users ...

i think it looks good, esp when you take the time to create a nice theme for youirself... it's functionality is probably it's winning point though... it's got lots of features not in phpBB (but phpBB2 should fix some of that)...

on the whole i think it's a great forum script

I'm using it on a small community site, and found it to be very buggy, and lacking many features. I may be a few version behind tho?

i'm not sure about the buggy part but XMB has quite a lot of features... it certainly isn';t lacking in that department for a free forum
